Programme

AI for Media is built in 3 modules that take you from understanding AI to shipping real work with it:

  • AI for Media Fundamentals  |  You start with the foundation, how generative and multimodal AI models actually work, what each is good at, and how to choose, prompt and combine them. You learn to turn that into reliable, responsible workflows you can trust.
  • AI for Media & Entertainment Business  |  This is the heart of your year. You put AI to work across real media and entertainment production; planning, archives, localisation and reuse, always weighing quality, rights and responsibility.
  • Creative AI Studio or Industry Internship  |  You finish by doing. Build a complete AI media project for your portfolio, or take your skills into a real organisation on an internship. This is the moment your work shows what you can do.

Below you can find an overview of the courses ( under reservation of changes), with the number of credits per phase. Credits express how many hours you need on average to process the subject matter (incl. lessons). Count about 25 to 30 hours for 1 study credit.

  • We have explained the most important courses in a blue tooltip.

Eyecatchers

The skills the industry is hiring for

Studios, newsrooms and agencies are looking for people who can make AI genuinely useful. You train with industry professionals to become a maker who creates real value, responsibly, and step into a career where your skills matter.

No code, No worries

Worried AI is leaving you behind because you’re not a developer? You don’t need to be. In one year you train your AI instincts until building smart, responsible workflows becomes second nature.

A portfolio that does the talking

You learn by doing. Building your own portfolio of AI-supported work is the goal of the whole programme, and potentially your way into roles across media, communication and entertainment.

In practice

Hands-on experience is built into the programme from day one. From the very first weeks you work on real industry use cases; the kinds of challenges media and entertainment teams genuinely face; with real data and real state-of-the-art tools. You're coached throughout by industry professionals, and through our close collaboration with Thomas More's AI research team we keep the methods and tools you learn at the cutting edge. Your portfolio grows with every module, because here, what you make matters most.

The programme runs over one year, starting in October, and is designed to combine with work. In the final phase you bring it all together in a capstone project, or step into an internship in the media or entertainment industry.

Personal coaching

Throughout the programme you receive dedicated personal coaching tailored to your background and ambitions. Your coaches help you navigate academic challenges, connect your learning to real career goals, and build the professional confidence you need to thrive in the AI-media sector. You are never just a student number - guidance is individual, ongoing, and genuinely career-focused.
