During the closing event of the ACE project in Antwerp, partners looked back on four years of collaboration focused on innovation in home care. The project resulted in 26 innovations that were demonstrated, tested, and implemented across borders, with the goal of enabling older adults to live at home longer and with greater quality of life.

The closing event of the ACE project took place at Thomas More’s Campus National in Antwerp, where partners from the North Sea region gathered to celebrate the results of three years of collaboration. ACE brought together healthcare organizations, companies, research institutions, and seniors to develop, test, and roll out innovative solutions for home care internationally.

In total, 26 innovations were successfully tested and implemented in various regions. During the event, seven companies shared their experiences, and the project’s impact became clear: technologies were further developed, organizations expanded internationally, and innovative solutions found their way into the daily practice of care providers.

LiCalab was proud to host the final partner meeting and facilitated an interactive workshop on user insights during the event. The event once again highlighted the importance of co-creation and cross-border collaboration in addressing societal challenges.

The ACE project leaves a lasting impression: stronger international networks, innovative care solutions, and a concrete contribution to better home care for the elderly.
