ACE Showcase of innovative solutions for home care

What innovative solutions exist for home care? More than 140 attendees came to find out on Tuesday 10 September at the campus of the Thomas More University of Applied Sciences. The event introduced participants to the challenges of home care and international solutions to address them. 

‘I didn't know all this existed’ and “Could you organise this every year?”. These responses show that there is a need to bring innovations closer to people and connect the different stakeholders in care. Therefore, as part of the ACE project, LiCalab organised this showcase event where some 30 exhibitors presented their solutions. Visitors listened, tested and tasted full of interest. 

The Swedish, Danish, Dutch and French partners of the ACE project also organised a similar showcase. The showcases are a first important step to bring together different innovations in healthcare and to encourage collaborations. In a next phase, we will set up pilot projects where a company can test innovations in a foreign healthcare organisation.
