The research at Mobilab & Care aims to improve the quality of life for patients with heart failure, a chronic condition in which the heart is no longer able to pump enough blood around the body.
We focus on the role that each healthcare provider can play in the follow-up, education, and support of patients.
In the future, AI and algorithms will increasingly be used in the care of people with heart failure. We are researching predictive models for diagnosis, risk assessment, and therapy response.
These models are an important step toward personalized healthcare, where treatment is tailored to the unique characteristics of each patient.
