Our laboratory is equipped with 3D motion cameras, pressure plates, pressure measurement systems, force plates, motion sensors, EMG sensors, a 4D back scanning system, and a split-belt treadmill.
We can perform personalized measurements or analyze the functioning of aids such as lower leg prostheses, ankle-foot orthoses, insoles, or exoskeletons.
With our (bio-)mechanical test setups, we can test the stiffness and strength of existing aids, by repeating the same movement pattern for a long time.
Our laboratory is equipped with advanced testing equipment for mechanical testing of aids, such as an ISO 22675 test setup (nicknamed Isolde), a robotic gait simulator, a static & dynamic AFO test setup, a Bruce setup, and a dynamic AFO forefoot plate tester.
