Researcher and occupational therapist dedicated to promoting the inclusion and participation of individuals with disabilities. Everyone has the right to fully participate in our society.

Tessa Delien obtained her professional Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Thomas More Kempen in 2014. Two years later, in 2016, she graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Ghent University. Until September 2020, she balanced a part-time job as an occupational therapist with research, but since September 1, 2020, she has been a full-time researcher at Mobilab & Care.

Her expertise and interests encompass research in the field of individuals with disabilities. She has conducted research on topics such as individualized funding (PVF), transportation for special education students, recovery farms, Assist3D (custom 3D-printed assistive devices), and CoMM (the development of a web tool for communication aids).

Currently, she is working on projects related to Recovery Farms 2.0, SKATE, exoskeletons, and Returning to Work after Brain Injury.
