This online decision-making tool for developmental trauma was developed for Solentra NPO.
The PACCT methodology helps you reach a decision when you have concerns about a child and/or family with a refugee or migrant background. Through a series of questions, the decision-making tool challenges you to view the situation from a broad, systemic perspective. Along the way, you will learn about relevant topics such as grief, acculturation and trauma. Based on your answers, the decision-making tool formulates recommendations that will hopefully help you move forward. The final decision rests with you, the professional, but the decision-making tool serves as a resource for learning and inspiration.
This project forms part of OverHoop, an initiative of the King Baudouin Foundation, commissioned by the Flemish Government. For this project, the Psychology and Technology research group is collaborating with Solentra NPO, Zenjoy, Ligant en Eerstelijnszone Maasland.
