How can you use digital technology in a high-quality way? What criteria, regulations or standards do you need to comply with in terms of the technology itself, the organisation and the professional? And how can you do this while putting the citizen or (healthcare) user first?
On behalf of the Department of Care of the Flemish Government, the Psychology and Technology research line, together with Artevelde University of Applied Sciences (from the WVG Support Centre), developed a quality framework for the use and development of digital technology in the sectors care and support.
Organisations can use the quality framework and assessment tool themselves to further develop their quality policy on digital care and support. Currently the tools are only available in Dutch.
The entire development and involvement of various stakeholders was recorded in the research report.
The quality framework contains an introduction that provides context for the framework, quality criteria for technology, organisations and professionals, and explanatory sections where necessary.
In addition to the theoretical framework, an assessment tool was also developed. As a developer, organisation, professional or user, you can immediately start working with the quality criteria. You can use the tool once, or see it as a growth path over time, as an individual or across an entire organisation.
