Collaborative Online International Learning
(COIL)

At Thomas More we offer a wide range of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) courses, an educational approach that connects students and faculty from different parts of the world through online collaboration. It allows participants to engage in cross-cultural learning and exchange without the need for physical mobility, using online tools and technologies to interact. This makes it more accessible to students who might not otherwise have the means to study or work abroad.

Students remain enrolled (and pay tuition) at their home university, where they are awarded grades for these courses. These courses work effectively as portals to increase student interest in study abroad.
