  1. Students with a physical disability.
  2. Students who want to take on a social engagement (such as supervisor, corridor manager or participation in a volunteer project in Antwerp) can apply for a room. A motivation must be submitted on the web form. This will be followed by an individual interview.
  3. If you received a study grant from the Flemish government in 2023-2024 and/or a social welfare benefit, you may be given priority when a student room is allocated.
    Please provide us with proof of this when submitting your application for a room.

  4. Incoming exchange students
    The demand for rooms in our residences always exceeds the available supply, making a selection process necessary. We do not operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, meaning the timing of your application does not influence your chances of securing a room. To provide as many students as possible with an opportunity to stay in our residences, the university selects applicants with the goal of creating a diverse and inclusive community.
     
  5. Degree students
    1st year degree students with priority for minors for a stay of 1 academical year.
