Dermus Vision

Goal

Dermus is a Hungarian team of medics and IT experts. They are developing a small scanner that can determine the size and extent of a malignant skin spot (baso). In addition, Dermus is developing an application for pre-operative planning.

From discussions with dermatologists, LiCalab obtained insight into the Belgian context of basal cell carcinoma treatment. We tested the added value of such a scanner for the daily practice of the dermatologist, aesthetic surgeon or general practitioner.

In addition, LiCalab made a concise market study on the healthcare system in Belgium.
