Can I study at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences as a refugee?
Everyone is welcome to study at Thomas More, if you meet a number of conditions, including refugees and candidates with a similar status. Thomas More has English taught courses. The admission procedure is based on your educational background.

Your admission depends on which programme you want and what background you have:
You have a Flemish secondary education diploma and you want to enrol in a full programme at Thomas More; then you can just register here
For a Dutch programme: You have a secondary education diploma from another country (incl. from Wallonia) and you want to enrol in a full programme at Thomas More; then you can send in an application here
You already have a higher education diploma (bachelor or master) or you have already studied at bachelor's or master's level and want to obtain a diploma at Thomas More; then get in touch and we will assess whether or not you can have some exemptions and / or gain access to a shortened programme. How can I best prepare?
Ensure a good language level.
Compile a strong file (with diplomas with possible translation and/or recognition, work experience, etc.)
English speakers can participate in the (English language) summer school to get to know Thomas More and Flanders better.
Request a guest account so that you already have access to the campus, the library... so you can already feel part of the Thomas More community.
