About Lieve

Lieve Van Nieuwenhuysen has been teaching anatomy at the nursing college for 15 years. As a GP, she regularly came into contact with informal carers. She is now part of the Mantelzorg research team. She also worked with vulnerable pregnant women in the prenatal support centre of Kind en Gezin for 16 years.
