This project aims to demonstrate the feasibility of insect lipid production on a pilot scale and the technological and economic viability of further scaling. Thomas More and KU Leuven are joining forces to enhance the significance of insects and insect lipids within a circular bio-economy. This project will confirm the potential of insect lipids and work towards the final valorisation steps to accelerate their commercialisation in various markets and sectors.
