Practical Info

These students follow at 3 -year bachelor degree programme in Organisation and Management and do an internship in line with one of these three options:  
 
Human Resources (HR)  

These students learned to provide an optimal service to employees, starting from their insight in human resources strategies.  
The students during their 2nd year do a short internship of six weeks, four days a week, during the second term, i.e. from mid-April to the end of May.  
The students during their 3rd year can opt for either an internship in Belgium or an internship abroad.  
We offer two internship periods in the third year: first semester: from mid-September to the end of December or second semester: from mid-February to mid-May. 
About 50% of the tasks must be executed in at least one foreign language. 

Event  
These students learned to set up real events both for SMEs and for large companies in the profit or non-profit sector.  
The students during their 3rd year can opt for either an internship in Belgium or an internship abroad.  
We offer two internship periods in the third year: first semester: from mid-September to the end of December or second semester: from mid-February to mid-May. 
 
Intercultural relations management (IRM)  
These students have learned to provide service to clients and employees with a wide variety of cultural backgrounds in multiple foreign languages.  
The students during their 2nd year do a short internship of six weeks, four days a week, during the second term, i.e. from mid-April to the end of May.  
IRM students are expected to use at least one foreign language during their internship.  
The students during their 3rd year can opt for either an internship in Belgium or an internship abroad.  
We offer two internship periods in the third year: first semester: from mid-September to the end of December or second semester: from mid-February to mid-May. 
About 50% of the tasks must be executed in at least one foreign language. 

What do we expect from the internship?

  • The trainee gets a personal mentor in the internship company/organisation who will offer the trainee the necessary support and follows this trainee up on a regular basis in the course of the internship.  
  • The internship takes place in a real, professional and social working environment.  
  • The trainee gets to know the internal processes of an organisation, its structure, working climate, working methods, expectations, work pace, company culture. 
  • The work load for the trainee is in line with the workload in a normal working week.  
  • The internship company formulates internship assignments in line with the programme-specific competencies of the bachelor degree programme, i.e. Organisation and Management.

Interested? Submit your internships 

We work with an internship portal. Companies register in the portal and can submit internship applications. The internship agreement and evaluations are done through the portal. Thus, everything is kept centrally for each student.
