This year's edition

We are excited to announce that the SLP-SS 2025 will be held at the University of Valladolid in Spain, between August 28 and September 4, 2025. 

Scientific program

The scientific program will combine educational challenges, interactive sessions and lectures as well as international group work, all under supervision of international SLP faculty and experts. This year’s themes will focus on:

  • Interprofessional and Intercultural Care 

  • Supporting Healthy Development 

  • Healthy Ageing 

  • Technological Applications in SLP 

  • Clinical Competencies for Real Life and Daily Activities 

Participants can earn a Certificate of Attendance recognized by all partner institutes, and may also earn credits towards academic accreditation (varies by department).

About SLP-SS

Dive into the world of Speech-Language Pathology with a global group of students and faculty. Get involved in interactive course days, practical assignments and personalised feedback sessions that cover a variety of SLP topics, global trends, and real-life ethical challenges. Learn from expert faculty through engaging talks, lively international discussions and growth-focused professional development activities.

Student level activities

  • Thematic course days: Engaging lectures and workshops covering diverse SLP topics.
  • Hands-on assignments: Practical tasks focusing on global SLP practices, research advancements, interprofessional approaches, and ethical decision-making.
  • Structured feedback: Opportunities for tailored feedback to enhance student learning outcomes.

Faculty level opportunities

  • Lectures and workshops: Lead sessions on specialized SLP topics.
  • Panel discussions: Present international perspectives and research findings.
  • Professional development: Participate in training sessions focusing on interprofessional education and research.

Student registration & fee

The registration fee, determined annually, ranges between €350 and €550, excluding travel costs, and will be communicated through your SLP-SS representative. Limited stipends are available to support students facing financial constraints. Applicants should apply through their respective SLP-SS representatives.
