Application Procedure

Have you found your perfect fit?

Then, go ahead and fill out an application. Even if you haven't obtained your secondary school diploma yet, you can already submit the application and add your transcript of records of the last 2 years of study and a letter from your school confirming your graduation and then send us your diploma once it is ready!

Students from outside the European Economic Area (non-EEA) are encouraged to start applications well in advance, since visa procedures can take weeks and sometimes even months. 

 

Application Process

Our application process is really easy and straightforward.

You will only need to meet 3 simple requirements*:

  1. Secondary Education Diploma
  2. English Language Certificate (B2)
  3. Passport/ID card or Residence Permit

Thomas More has no numerus clausus procedure, nor do we have a limit on the number of admitted students. We also do not require an application fee!

Deadlines for non-EEA students in need of a student visa

Start your Study in February 2026 (Spring AY 2025-2026)
  • Opening applications: 15 September 2025
  • Application deadline: 10 November 2025
  • Payment deadline (tuition fee & blocked account): 24 November 2025
Start your Study in September 2026 (Fall AY 2026-2027)
  • If you already wish to apply for Fall 2026-2027 (start September 2026), please fill in this notification form. You will then be notified once Fall applications open up.
  • Opening applications: 19 January 2026
  • Application deadline: 25 May 2026
  • Payment deadline (tuition fee & blocked account): 8 June 2026

*Postgraduate programmes have additional deadlines (and deadlines for EEA students), check them here.
** non-EEA candidates who already reside in Belgium with a valid Belgian residence permit do not need to follow these deadlines.

Deadlines for EEA students

There are no application deadlines for bachelor programmes for EEA students.  You can send in an application up to the start of the semester.
Please make sure you arrive in Belgium to attend our Welcome Days.

Are you completing (or have completed) your secondary/higher education in Flanders or the Netherlands?
  • Candidates who have completed their secondary/higher education in Flanders or the Netherlands and meet the general diploma requirements are admitted to the English bachelor programmes. Find all info about registration here.
