BEHOEFTEONDERZOEK OP MAAT

A tailor-made needs assesment

What

Vonk3 has expertise in conducting neighborhood, evaluation and needs research; both in setting up and developing quantitative surveys and in qualitative research through in-depth interviews or focus groups.

A plan of action is presented according to the needs of the organisation.  If desired, organizations can also call on Vonk3’s expertise to work with researchers to develop a plan of action and request further guidance.

Goal

Neighborhood analysis

In the context of the start-up and operation of local service centers (LDC), local authorities and residential care organizations call on Vonk3. We investigate the needs of the neighborhood and all relevant stakeholders (residents, associations, healthcare professionals, local merchants, etc.). Vonk3 provides local neighborhood analysis and explores the local needs and requirements for care and support for vulnerable citizens, and then works with all relevant local stakeholders to develop a supported and substantiated action plan. These analyses aim to develop actions and interventions around caring neighborhoods, tailored to the neighborhood(s) in an evidence-based manner. We pay specific attention to reaching vulnerable people and addressing their needs.

Evaluation research

At the request of organizations working with a new approach or methodology on themes such as loneliness, informal care, caring neighborhoods, or new care models, we conduct evaluation research. In these evaluation studies, we not only examine whether, but also how and why the new approach or tested methodology contributes to the intended objective (e.g., strengthening neighborly assistance, more person-centered care in residential care centers, etc.). We typically do this through in-depth interviews with the target group (e.g., residents of residential care centers, vulnerable neighborhood residents, caregivers, etc.) and focus groups with involved professional and informal actors. These evaluation studies provide practical tools to detect working elements and adjust practices. (Older people’s) needs research In the context of (older people’s) needs research, we guide organizations in developing, executing, and analyzing needs research. The goal is to work together with professionals (possibly supplemented by volunteers, associations via e

Research on the needs of the elderly

We guide organizations in developing, carrying out and analyzing needs studies. The aim is to work with professionals (possibly in addition to volunteers, associations through a train the trainer training)... through face-to-face surveys and / or online surveys to gain insight into the dreams and wishes of people aged 65-75-85.

Duration

Most studies take approximately one year (up to two years) from application and development to result, depending on the possibilities in the planning and agenda of the research group.
