Teacher Training

Your dream job is to teach - secondary school

You are fascinated by the inquisitiveness and imagination of young children. You are eager to help them develop and explore the wide world together. You enjoy singing, playing, and being creative.
As a kindergarten teacher, you supervise and stimulate the learning and development process of children aged 2.5 to 6. You guide them on a journey of discovery through the wondrous world of colours and sounds, nature and technology, numbers and letters. We are happy to help to prepare you for this unique job!

You have broad general knowledge, and you are naturally inquisitive. Your dream job is varied, diverse, and presents new challenges every day.
You would love to work with children aged 6 to 12. You can easily connect with them on their level and enter their world.
You are open to the world around you and are confident in your abilities. You have excellent social and communication skills. You enjoy talking to parents and get inspiration from working with colleagues.
Do you recognise yourself in this profile? We will help you become a modern, well-rounded teacher who can connect easily with pupils.

You want to inspire and support young people. You are passionate about a specific secondary education subject (science, language, sport, art, technology, history) and want to share your knowledge with young people aged 12 to 18. Teaching teens a specific subject and helping them develop is your talent!
Teaching is a unique profession that requires a lot of independence and responsibility. You will continually challenge pupils to push past their boundaries.
Perhaps you have a special teacher in mind who left a lasting impression on you. Perhaps you want to do the same: become an enthusiastic coach whose personality and teaching method inspires and captivates young people.

Fablab en I-lab

The junior fablab (fabrication laboratory) is a makerspace at Campus Kruidtuin. When you like working with the 3D-printer, lasercutter and other tools and you like creating yourself this is the place to be.
At the I-lab students have the opportunity to experiment with several VR-applications, robots and a green screen.

Children's lab and ‘t Zwiebelbos

In the Children's lab, a real kindergarten on the campus, you can practice with or without children.

In 't Zwiebelbos (a spot of nature on the campus), you learn by doing what children find important when playing outside.

Introduction to the professional field

Our training is not only about toddlers and pupils, we also work with them. Internship is therefore an important part of our training. For this purpose, we cooperate with various partner schools and organisations.
