‘I’m in Tales’ stands for ‘Inclusive Methodology for Technology Aimed at Learning and Enhancement of Storytelling’.
With this project we want to increase the learning potential of students between four and ten years old and strengthen inclusion in the class group. We do this with interactive stories, which we develop by linking objects and digital multimedia.
We use Tangible User Interfaces (TUI). These are everyday objects that support the story and can stimulate different senses. The child receives a motivating, digital response and that encourages them to interact with the story and with each other.
Within 'I'm in tales' we draw up guidelines with which teachers can develop simple stories themselves with TUI.

The goal of this project is to:
Understanding and creating stories is extremely important during children’s development. Storytelling can increase children’s learning potential.
Thanks to inclusive technological tools, such as Tangible User Interfaces (TUI), teachers can create stories tailored to their students. However, they must first get to know and learn how to use those tools, which is not yet the case. This project aims to change that.
We analyze the effects of interactive storytelling on the inclusion of children with disabilities.
We write guidelines for using the tool so that teachers can develop simple stories themselves with TUI.
