Application Process

Our application process is really easy and straightforward.

You will only need to meet 3 simple requirements*:

  1. Secondary Education Diploma
  2. English Language Certificate (B2)
  3. Passport/ID card or Residence Permit

Thomas More recently won 3 medals at the Global Student Satisfaction Awards organised by Study Portals. Specifically our admission process received a score of 4.7 out of 5! Check it out here.
Thomas More has no numerus clausus procedure, nor do we have a limit on the number of admitted students. We also do not require an application fee!

Deadlines for non-EEA students

Start your Study in February 2025 (Spring AY 2024-2025)
  • Opening applications: 29 September 2024
  • Application deadline: 18 November 2024 (CLOSED)
  • Payment deadline: 29 November 2024
Start your Study in September 2025 (Fall AY 2025-2026)
  • If you already wish to apply for Fall 2025-2026 (start September 2025), please fill in this notification form. You will then be notified once Spring applications open up.
  • Opening applications: 27 January 2025
There are no application deadlines for bachelor programmes for EEA students.

Deadlines for EEA students

There are no application deadlines for bachelor programmes for EEA students.  You can send in an application up to the start of the semester.
Please make sure you arrive in Belgium to attend our Welcome Days.

Procedure

Are you completing (or have completed) your secondary education in Flanders or the Netherlands?
  • Candidates who have completed their secondary education in Flanders or the Netherlands and meet the general diploma requirements are admitted to the English bachelor programmes. Find all info about registration here.
  • If you are interested in the postgraduate programme Space & Service Design, please fill out this form.
  • If you are interested in the postgraduate programme Creative Belgium School, please fill out this form.
  • If you are interested in our postgraduate programmes, please check the postgraduate page to see the additional requirements.
Are you a current Thomas More student and you want to start a second BA or a postgraduate programme?

Are you completing (or have completed) your secondary education elsewhere?

Download the application manual and continue with step 1 and 2 below. You will need it to guide you through the application process.  

Are you applying for the VLIRUOS Scholarship (only for bachelor Applied Computer Science specialization track Digital Innovation and only for candidates who meet the scholarship criteria)?
